Gotta Have It: Galactic Princess Headphone Covers
I might've spoken too soon. I was just complaining a couple of days ago that Christmas in 2011 and New Year's Eve/Day in 2012 just didn't feel the same because of the unusually warm temperatures. On New Year's Eve, I had on a light jacket and was sweating for goodness sakes -- it was 50-ish degrees. The weather gods must've heard me because this morning, it was freakin' cold (in the 20s), annoyingly windy and not at all sunny.
I happened to pull my hair back because -- well -- that's what you do to combat those breezy walks to work with air pockets and wind tunnels abound. I got to work and realized I had developed a headache on the way. Nothing was covering my bare ears!
What am I going to do for the rest of the winter? I don't want to wear a hat -- hat hair is not sexy. And earmuffs are kind of an eyesore, wouldn't you say? But wait, if they looked like hair, it might be a whole different story.
Enter, the Galactic Princess Headphone Covers ($24 at Etsy.com). Just glue them permanently or temporarily to your headphones or ratty, old earmuffs. You can also clip 'em to your own hair for a serious Princess Leia effect. And the best part is, your ears will stay nice and toasty.
Thoughts? Cool, no? Or am I crazy?
